The Kaspa network uses a proof-of-work (PoW) consensus mechanism like Bitcoin, but with the unique advantage that several blocks can exist in parallel within the Kaspa network. The newly created blocks are ordered within the network by consensus. Currently, 1 block is created per second, but rates of up to 100 blocks per second are also possible - making Kaspa a very fast and scalable blockchain.

Kaspa was able to record considerable price increases in November 2023, which stabilized until mid-December 2023. In December 2023, Kaspa miners are the most profitable miners according to our projections, led by the Bitmain Antminer KS3 and the IceRiver KS3 models.
